Choir Department

The Choir Department is responsible for supervising and coordinating all the choirs in the Province. The South Province of the Moravian Church has over 190 congregations, and each of those has at least one choir.

The department is responsible for:
  • The musical education of the choirs
  • The introduction and teaching of new songs
  • Organising and arrange choirs for special events
  • Organising meetings for choirs on the district and provincial level

Vision

To forward the heritage of traditional music to the next generation by opening music courses for young people.
