The Mbutusyo Guest House was founded by the Social Welfare Department of the Moravian Church in Tanzania – South Province. It is a beautiful old building, that was renovated in 2017 and since then is one of the best places to stay in the Rungwe region. The quite area around the Guest House and the historical significance of the region will make your stay an exceptional experience.
The very first Church that was built by Missionaries of the Moravian Church in Tanzania is just a few hundred meters away from the Guest House. For people who are interested in the history of the missionaries and the Rungwe region, there is the Rungwe Archive and Museum Centre, which is right next to Mbutusyo Guest House.

- Double Bedroom - 60'000 Tsh per night
- Twin Bedroom - 60'000 Tsh per night
In addition, we charge 20,000 per day for our cleaner.However this amount is split between all the guests who stay at Mbutusyo Guest House.
